Job summary

Pebbles Education recruits a Teaching Assistant to join our team at our school in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. You will foster a positive learning environment, delivering an individualised curriculum and supporting children in Pebbles homes or day placements.

The role involves working in groups and one-on-one with pupils, collaborating across departments, and helping learners reach their qualification goals. 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday, with benefits and healthcare options.

Responsibilities

• You will be a self-motivated and dedicated team player who can assist in delivering our curriculum with a pupil-centred approach.
• You will work collaboratively with our other departments to encourage our children to participate in education and reach their qualification goals.
• This will involve working in groups and one-on-one with children who live within our Pebbles homes or attend on a day placement basis.
