Job summary

Nyewood CE Infant School in Bognor Regis is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant & Midday Meals Supervisor to support learning, welfare and inclusion. You will work with class teachers to assess pupil progress and deliver engaging activities, while supervising lunchtimes and promoting safeguarding.

The role requires commitment to the school Christian ethos, ability to foster positive relationships with pupils and families, and adherence to all safeguarding procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children's learning in a school setting.
• Ability to promote safeguarding, welfare and inclusion.
• Good communication with staff, pupils and families.

Responsibilities

• Support learning and assessment of pupil progress under teachers.
• Deliver inclusive activities and manage classroom resources.
• Supervise midday meals and promote positive behaviour.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow school policies.
• Attend safeguarding training and contribute to pupil wellbeing.
