New Close Primary School in Warminster, Wiltshire, is seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant to join on a maternity cover contract from March 2027. The role is part-time (28.75 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, term-time only) and requires flexibility to support pupils of all abilities, including SEND needs.

Working within the Acorn Education Trust, you will support learning, liaise with teachers and SENDCO, and contribute to a caring, inclusive environment with a strong focus on pupil

Formación

• Has experience of supporting children’s learning.
• Has strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Enjoys working with children and can develop good relationships.
• Has a current First Aid or is prepared to undertake training.
• Is a strong team player and able to use their own initiative.

Responsabilidades

• Support pupils across all age ranges on a maternity cover contract.
• Liaise with teachers and the SENDCO to provide SEND support.
• Contribute to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Support safeguarding and welfare of pupils as part of the school team.
