Job summary

St Gerard’s Catholic Primary School in Middlesbrough is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team. The role is permanent, 24 hours per week, term time only plus 1 week, with salary £28,598 - £30,024 pro rata.

You will uphold the school ethos, support high-quality learning, maintain high standards of literacy and numeracy, and communicate sensitively with parents. Visits are welcome; closing date 2026-10-02, interviews 2026-10-12.

Salary: £28,598 - £30,024 pro rata (actual salary: £16,027 - £16,826)

Hours: 24 hours per week, Term Time Only plus 1 week
