Saint Pauls Catholic High School in the UK is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 4 SAN – Behaviour, Guidance & Support to join our caring school community. This full-time role runs 35 hours per week, term time only over 39 weeks, and is permanent.

You will lead on supporting students to overcome learning barriers, manage interventions, assist with Education, Behaviour, Support and Mentoring plans, and develop 1:1 mentoring for distressed students, enabling access to learning with appropriate

Qualifications

• Strong background in supporting students with additional education needs.
• Experience with students with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
• Demonstrates moral and ethical principles and values.
• Able to adapt to challenging situations and maintain composure.
• Open to new ideas, team player with good sense of humour.
• Acts with integrity at all times.

Responsabilités

• Lead role addressing the needs of students overcoming barriers to learning.
• Manage the interventions of students.
• Assist the teacher with development and implementation of Education, Behaviour, Support and Mentoring plans.
• Develop 1:1 mentoring arrangements with students and provide support for distressed students.
• Support students access to learning using appropriate strategies and resources.
