Peasmarsh Church of England Primary School is seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant 3 to work mainly in Key Stage 2. The post is term-time only (39 weeks per year plus 7 weeks annual leave) with pro rata salary. A Level 3 qualification in teaching and learning, plus strong maths and English, is required.

The successful candidate will have good communication, behaviour management and teamwork skills. Visits to the school are encouraged.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Hours of work: 26.25 hours per week
Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for39weeks per year plus 7weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)
(As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata)

Peasmarsh Church of England Primary School are looking to recruit a part time teaching assistant 3 to work mainly in Key Stage 2, but with a possibility of additional adhoc hours working across the school.

This person must have a minimum level 3 qualification in teaching and learning and a good standard of maths and English.

The successful applicant must have good communication skills, behaviour management skills and work well as part of a flexible team.They must be enthusiastic, patient, compassionate and willing to listen.

Peasmarsh CE Primary School has been graded as 'Good' in the last Ofsted report (March 2024). All of the staff value teamwork and support each other. This will be great opportunity for someone to join this enthusiastic team and further embed the school ethos of 'Love learning and love your neighbour as yourself'.
