Cheetwood Community Primary School in Manchester is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our EYFS team, supporting high-quality learning through play and early development.

You will work 35 hours per week on a permanent contract, provide 1:1 and small-group support, and assist with safeguarding and inclusion across the school values.

Qualifications

  • Holds an NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Has experience working within EYFS and a strong understanding of child development.
  • Is adaptable, confident, and able to take initiative when supervising classes.
  • Is committed to safeguarding, inclusion, and the wellbeing of all pupils.
  • Is positive, patient, proactive, and passionate about early education.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Has a willingness to undertake a paediatric first aid qualification

Salary: £27,274 - £29,071 per annum

Cheetwood Primary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and nurturing team.

The successful candidate will primarily work within our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting high-quality learning through play, communication, and early development.

We are looking for a TA who will champion and model these values every day.

In addition to your main EYFS responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be required to provide occasional class supervision across other year groups when needed.

This may include covering short-term teacher absence, leading lessons from prepared plans, or providing additional classroom support.
