Job summary

St Peter’s Primary School, part of the Three Counties Academy Trust, invites applications for a Teaching Assistant Level 3. You will support all key stages in a friendly, inclusive environment and work under the direction of teachers to develop pupils’ learning and wellbeing.

The successful candidate will have a Level 3 qualification, experience working with children in a school setting, and a strong commitment to safeguarding, teamwork and high standards of pupil welfare.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to pupils
• Work closely with classroom teachers to create an inclusive learning environment
• Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents
• Support pupils' social and emotional development, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere
• Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
