Job summary

Experience in early years is preferred, with a Level 3 qualification. You will assist with planning, resource preparation and supervising individuals and groups to create a safe, stimulating environment for all children.

Job description

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Teaching Assistant tojoin our staff team.

We are looking for someone who can nurture, inspire and motivatepupils and has experience of working in a Primary school. Early years experience is preferable but not essential. Although you must hold one of the approved early years qualifications

The successful candidate will work underthe guidance of teaching/senior staff and within an agreed system ofsupervision, to implement work programmes with individuals and groups, in orout of the classroom. This may includechildren who require detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas andwill involve assisting the teacher in the whole planning cycle and themanagement/preparation of resources.

Hold a relevant Level 3Child Care or Teaching Assistants qualification

• Have good numeracy, literacy and communication skills and a goodworking knowledge of the revised statutory requirements in early years’foundation stage
• Have the knowledge understanding and skills to support the EYFSteam and 2-year-old provision
• Be enthusiastic, resourceful and keen to ensure that the highestpossible standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well-beingare achieved
• Have the ethos and philosophy to build good relationships withchildren and parents, support daily routines in a stimulating and creativesetting and help to provide rich experiences to enable our children to becomeeffective learners
• Have a commitment to safeguarding and well-being of children
