Job summary

Cheetwood Primary School is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage and beyond. The role focuses on learning through play, communication, and early development within a nurturing team.

You will help deliver small-group and 1:1 interventions, maintain a safe learning environment, and contribute to wider school life while upholding our values.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience working in EYFS and strong understanding of child development.

Responsibilities

• Support high-quality teaching and learning within EYFS, helping children achieve early developmental milestones.
• Deliver small-group and 1:1 intervention as directed by classteachers.
• Foster a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment reflecting our ethos and values.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Provide short-term classroom supervision across other year groups when needed.
• Support behaviour management and uphold the school’s values and expectations.
• Assist with assessment, observations, and recording of pupils’ progress.

CheetwoodPrimary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3Teaching Assistant to joinour supportive and nurturing team. The successful candidate will primarily workwithin our Early Years Foundation Stage(EYFS), supportinghigh-quality learning through play, communication, and early development.
