Howden Junior School is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team helping pupils with learning and care needs. The role is term-time with hours up to 31.25 per week, plus an additional 31.25 hours, including lunchtime supervision.

Howden Junior School are looking for an individual who is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of pupils to join our friendly and dedicated team of Teaching Assistants who play a vital role in supporting and assisting the teaching, learning and care of pupils within our school.
The working hours are up to 31.25 per week during the school term, Monday to Friday, during the school term, plus an additional 31.25 hours. The post holder will also support with lunchtime supervision of the pupils. Your actual salary will be £18,855.87 per annum, and this is paid in 12 equal instalments over the year.
The key responsibilities associated with this role involve supporting pupils with emotional and behavioural difficulties so they can effectively access the school curriculum and to support and encourage a whole school approach which allows pupils to acquire and develop emotional literacy skills, including but not limited to:
