Pleckgate High School, part of Education Partnership Trust, is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 3 to support pupils across the school day. The role runs 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:25–15:05, with term-time plus one week.

You’ll work under the class teacher’s direction to implement planning, support learning and monitor pupil progress. The ideal candidate will have GCSE English and Maths at grade 9–5 and a Level 3 education qualification, plus experience supporting children and EAL

Formación

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 9–5 (or equivalent).
• Level 3 Child Care or related education qualification.
• Experience supporting children in education setting.
• Experience supporting EAL pupils and interventions.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the class teacher with planning and assessment.
• Support individuals and small groups to raise progress.
• Promote inclusion and language development for EAL pupils.
• Supervise non-lesson activities and monitor progress.
• Administer and assess routine tests.
