Oakwood Academy is an Outstanding Specialist Arts, Technology and Sports College based in Ellesmere Park Eccles for pupils with MLD and CLD. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Teaching Assistant as soon as possible.
Applicants should have high expectations for all students, are committed to developing their full potential, and experience with ASD/SEND is desirable. The post is permanent, term-time only, with a 6-month probationary period and a closing date of 4th September.

Applicants are expected to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Possess good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills in order to support learning, have the ability to promote independence and confidence and be an excellent role model to all.
You must have a caring, positive and flexible attitude with a willingness to work as part of a team, and able to use your own initiative and to work without supervision.
