Job summary

Oakbridge School in Handsworth, Birmingham, is seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to support teachers, assist SEN students in small groups, and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment.

This term-time, full-time permanent role offers progression from TA Level 1 to TA Level 2 with SCP pay, plus ongoing training and a supportive school community environment.

Salary: TA Level 1 £23,490 (SCP 4) – TA Level 2 £25,020 (SCP 8) per year – TTO Permanent

Who are we?

Established in 2018, Oakbridge School is an independent special day school in Handsworth, Birmingham with a specially designed learning environment created to meet the needs of autistic children. We provide a calm, low arousal, safe, positive, and nurturing place where young people can learn and grow.

Oakbridge School is part of the Kedleston Group. We specialise in providing specialist education and care for children aged 7-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). These include autistic spectrum condition (ASC), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
