Job summary

Nexus Multi Academy Trust invites applications for a Teaching Assistant role based in a multi-site special school. The position is full-time (37 hours) with permanent and fixed-term contracts, starting as soon as possible.

You will support whole-class, group, and one-to-one work, focusing on pupils’ emotional, social and mental health needs, and you will be part of a team across Trust academies. Applicants should have experience as a Teaching Assistant in mainstream or specialist education, or

Job description

Teaching Assistant post with Nexus Multi Academy Trust, based in a multi-site special school for pupils with Education Health Care Plans. Permanent and fixed-term roles of 37 hours a week are open, to start as soon as possible. The role centres on whole-class, group and one-to-one support, with a focus on pupils' emotional, social and mental health needs. Knowledge of special educational needs is essential, and applicants need an enhanced DBS check and right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available.
