Job summary

Old Moat in Manchester is seeking a TA3 to join our Early Years team on a temporary 12-month contract. You will work across nursery and reception, supporting the team to give Charlestown children the best start in education and care.

The role requires nurturing skills and experience in early years, including appropriate personal care responsibilities. The post is funded for 12 months with potential extension depending on funding.

About The Role

• Contract Type: This role is initially temporary for 12 months, with the possibility of being extended dependent upon Funding
• Weekly Hours: Full Time, 35 hours per week (Mon-Thur 8.15 am—15:45pm Friday 8.15 am—14:45pm + 1 hour TBA for staff meetings and training) 39 weeks per year
• Number of positions: 1

• Start Date: 1st October 2026
• Salary: £23,461 - £25,563 per annum

We are looking for an experienced TA3 to work in Early Years. The successful candidate will be expected to work across our nursery and reception provision and work within the team, flexibly, to give Charlestown children the best start.

The ideal person will be very nurturing and will have good experience of working within early years and be aware that the appropriate personal care of children is expected as part of the role.
