Job summary

St Andrew's CE Primary School, Kettering is seeking a caring Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our Nursery provision on a maternity cover basis. You will work alongside our experienced team in a values-led, Christian environment where every child is valued and supported to learn through play.

You should hold a Level 3EYFS qualification, be enthusiastic, adaptable and collaborative, with a commitment to safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Holds a Level 3 qualification compliant with the EYFS Framework (essential).
• Experience of working with young children, preferably in a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Ability to work effectively, flexibly and independently.
• Demonstrates initiative and creativity in learning situations.

Responsibilities

• Support our Nursery provision and help children develop through play.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive and welcoming learning environment.
• Assist with safeguarding and promoting welfare of pupils.

We have a rare opening for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant, to join our school and support our Nursery provision as Maternity Cover. We are seeking someone who:

• Holds a relevant Level 3 qualification, compliant with the EYFS Framework (essential).
• Is enthusiastic, approachable, friendly and positive about their role in education and contribution to our whole school community Has experience of working with young children, preferably in a nursery or Early Years setting
• Has the ability to work effectively, flexibly, and independently
• Shows initiative and creativity in different learning situations
• Is keen to support the ethos of a Church school.
• Understands the importance of Child Protection and is committed to the safeguarding of children’s welfare- both at home and in school.
• Can help maintain a safe, inclusive and welcoming learning environment, promoting high standards of care and safeguarding
