Job summary

Hays Education is partnering with schools across Coventry, Warwickshire and Rugby to recruit Level 3 Teaching Assistants to support pupils with SEN. You will work 1:1 or in small groups, adapting activities to individual needs and assisting teachers to deliver engaging lessons.

The role focuses on developing academic, social, and emotional skills while maintaining positive behaviour and strong relationships with pupils, staff and families.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable)
• SEN experience is advantageous
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Hays Education is currently working with a number of schools across Coventry, Warwickshire, and Rugby who are looking to appoint passionate and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Special Educational Needs.

We have opportunities available within specialist settings, supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, moderate learning difficulties, and complex needs.

Your Role

• Support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
• Help manage behaviour positively and effectively

What We're Looking For
