Leigh Central Primary School is a welcoming and diverse one-form entry primary school in the middle of Leigh town centre. The children and their families are very important to us and are central to all we do. The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly skilled, dedicated and effective Level Two Teaching Assistant who will work across Key Stage 1. The successful applicant will be supporting children with SEN needs on an individual or a small group basis. They will be part of a team and as such will work alongside the class teacher in meeting the daily needs of the children they are supporting. They will implement actions identified from outside agencies and feed back to the class teacher. In addition, they will work with the class teacher in the assessment and planning process to ensure the academic needs of this child are met.
The successful candidate will also be required to support teaching staff on playground duty and will be required to provide lunch time supervision.

The interview process will consist of a teaching observation followed by an interview with two members of the senior leadership team and an unseen task.
