Job summary

Harlescott Junior School in Shrewsbury invites applications for a KS2 Level 2 Teaching Assistant. The post is permanent and term-time only, with a salary of £17,171.15 for 28.45 hours per week, at Grade 5 scp 5 (£13.70-£13.92).

You will work with class teachers and the SEND team to support pupils' learning, emotional wellbeing and social development, delivering targeted interventions in an inclusive, nurturing environment.

We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at Harlescott Junior School. This is a position which supports inclusive learning and pupil development across Key Stage 2.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers and the SEND team to support pupils' learning, emotional wellbeing, and social development. You will help deliver targeted interventions, assist with classroom activities, and contribute to creating a nurturing and inclusive environment.
