Job description

Bishopton Primary School are seeking a highly dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Assistant to join our welcoming and supportive team. We are looking to appoint a skilled and nurturing professional to provide 1:2 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs.

This role involves support throughout the school day to ensure the pupils feel safe, engaged and able to thrive. Working collaboratively with the class teacher to implement and review the provision, strategies and outcomes outlined within the pupils' Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). Support the delivery of targeted interventions and personalised learning approaches to enable pupils to achieve their identified outcomes.

This is a fixed-term position linked to the provision of additional support under pupil's EHCP and the associated funding received by the school.
