Job summary

SS Osmund and Andrew’s RC Primary is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant - Level 2 (SEND) to join our supportive team. The role is term-time only, 31.25 hours per week, fixed-term for 1 year with potential to become permanent depending on pupil need.

The successful candidate will work with pupils with SEND, support class teaching, and contribute to a positive learning environment. DBS checks apply in line with safer recruitment practices.

• Experience with pupils with SEND or a passion to develop in this area.

Working Hours: 31.25 hours (8.45-15.30 with 30 minutes lunch)

Grade: Grade D Scp 6 £26,847 to Scp 11 £29,071 pro rata

Actual Salary: £18,959 to £20,530 plus pro rata Special Needs Allowance

Contract Type: Fixed term for 1 year with view to becoming permanent

The Role

The governors of SS Osmund and Andrew’s RCP School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, positive and caring candidate to join our team at SS Osmund and Andrew’s CRP School.

The successful candidate will add capacity to a team of exceptionally caring and passionate Special Needs Assistants. The initial appointment will be on a fixed term basis, which will be reviewed at the end of the year, with the view to extend or become permanent depending on pupil need.
