Job summary

St Paul’s C E Primary School seeks an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning, with a focus on pupils with SEND. The role currently covers three full days a week, with potential to become full-time in the future.

Hours are 19.5 per week during term time plus one week. The post is subject to enhanced DBS, references, and safeguarding checks. Start ASAP following pre-employment checks.

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND in a primary setting.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning in classrooms.
• Assist with pupils with SEND under guidance of teaching staff.

Salary: Grade 3 (SCP4) £25,614 (FTE) - £11987 (Pro Rata Salary)

Hours: 19.5 hours per week - Term time Plus One Week (39 weeks)

The Head Teacher and Governors of St Paul’s C E Primary school are seeking to appoint an experienced, committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will play a key role in the teaching and learning within school.

The post is for three full days currently with a potential to become a full time, five day post, in the future.

Candidates should be motivated and have relevant experience with a good understanding of pupils with SEND.
