Job summary

Penn Hall School in Wolverhampton is recruiting two Level 2 Teaching Assistants on permanent contracts. These posts are 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only, with a starting salary of £19,948 per annum on the NJC Scale Grade 4, Pt 7–11.

The school serves pupils aged 3–19 with special educational needs and disabilities, and offers a warm, inclusive ethos. Applicants should have NVQ Level 2 in Teaching Assistants or equivalent and GCSEs in English and Maths; Enhanced DBS checks

Qualifications and Experience

• NVQ Level 2 in Teaching Assistance or equivalent
• GCSEs in English and Maths (Grades A-C)

Extensive experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly those with severe learning difficulties and/or autism, is preferred but not essential.
