Job summary

Sunning Hill Primary in Bolton is seeking a teaching assistant to join our nursery team, starting from 21 September 2026 on a permanent basis. The role is 31.50 hours per week during term time, Grade D SCP 6-11, paying £18,500–£20,033.

You will contribute to an outstanding EYFS provision, support pupils, and work with a dedicated staff team dedicated to an inclusive ethos. An enhanced DBS is required post-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in childcare.
• Experience of working within an EYFS setting.
• GCSE Math and English at grade A-C or 9-4 or equivalent.

The Governors of this popular school are looking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and talented teaching assistant, to join our dedicated nursery staff team.

The applicant must have a minimum Level 2 qualification in childcare and experience of working within an EYFS setting.
