Job summary

E-ACT Royton and Crompton Academy is seeking a caring, enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant for maternity cover. You will work under the class teacher to support pupils’ learning across the school, including individuals, small groups, and whole classes.

The role emphasizes safeguarding, high standards, and inclusive practice as you help pupils achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.

Qualifications

  • GCSE English and Maths are required.
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong teamwork and organisational abilities.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practices.

Responsibilities
