Job summary

Wmjobs is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to support a Year 6 pupil with an EHCP on a 15 hour per week fixed term until July 2027. The role runs 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with 1:1 SEND support.

In addition, the post includes lunchtime supervision totaling 4 hours per week (approx finish at 1:00 pm or 12:30 pm on certain days). We value excellent communication, teamwork and the ability to uphold the school's Christian ethos.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to fulfil two roles:

1. To work with and support an identified pupil in Year 6 who has an EHCP. 4.

2. To provide a lunchtime supervisory duty

Teaching Assistant – (Level 2) 1:1 SEND Support

15 hours per week/ Fixed term until July 2027 - unless the pupil leaves the school or the funding ceases.

Grade 5 SCP 7 - £14.14 Per Hour (43.60 weeks/term time only) Monday to Friday – 15 hours per week in total 1:1 SEND TA Position – 9:00am – 12:00 pm.

Lunchtime Supervision – Total of 4 hours a week (Grade 1 SCP 3 - £13.28 per hour).

Total of 4 hours. (Finish at 1:00pm on Mondays, Wednesday & Friday/ Finish at 12:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays).
