Job summary

Wickersley Partnership Trust (WPT) is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join a supportive classroom team at Oldgate Lane, Additional Provision based at Thrybergh Primary School. You will work alongside teachers to deliver engaging activities, prepare resources, and help ensure a safe, well-organised learning environment for all students.

The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants (or equivalent) and have experience supporting pupils, including those with EHCPs.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants (or equivalent qualification or experience).
• Experience supporting pupils in classrooms and with EHCPs encouraged.
• Ability to work as part of a team to support learning activities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured teaching programmes and assist the class teacher with learning activities.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
• Maintain an organised learning environment and support with clerical tasks.
• Support pastoral care and the implementation of EHCPs for students with specific needs.
