Job summary

Manor Way Primary Academy, part of Windsor Academy Trust in Halesowen, is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to support learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. The role is 5 days per week, working under the guidance of the class teacher to raise core skills and pupil progress.

You will assist with learning activities, support pupils with additional needs and help maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment aligned with academy policies.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school setting.
• Commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and creating a positive learning environment.
• Ability to follow instructions from teaching staff and work under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Work with individuals or small groups to support learning in EYFS/KS1/KS2.
• Assist pupils with special educational needs and those for whom English is an additional language.
• Support planned learning activities and adapt tasks to learner needs.
• Assist with behaviour management and academy policies as directed by the class teacher.
• Support with eating, dressing, hygiene and everyday independence as required.
• Maintain and develop student engagement and progress through targeted activities.
