Job summary

Condover CofE Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support the class and individual learners. The role involves assisting the teacher, managing pupils, and contributing to a positive learning environment.

The post is permanent, 5 days a week, 8.30am–3.30pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and separate lunchtime supervision. The school emphasises a caring, family ethos and supportive team working.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification required.
• Experience supporting pupils with EHCPs or additional learning needs is desirable.
• Ability to work under supervision within a primary school setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with daily classroom tasks and pupil management.
• Support pupil learning and implement interventions as directed by teaching staff.
• Prepare and maintain teaching resources and equipment for lessons.
• Support access to learning for pupils including those with EHCPs where required.

Condover CofE Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and hardworking Level 2 Teaching Assistant.

Condover is a small, rural primary school and is part of a well-established community. The role will be working under the guidance of the teaching staff to support access to learning for pupils. Assisting the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom, including support for individual Education Health Care Plans (EHCP's). This will include the preparation and routine maintenance of resources/equipment. Working with pupils, supporting their learning and leading interventions which will be carried out in or out of the classroom.
