The Role

Central England Academy Trustprovides excellent education to learners in Nuneaton and the surrounding areas. We have three schools: Oak Wood Primary School, Oak Wood Secondary School, and Higham Lane School. Together, we offer a comprehensive education to students aged 4 to 19 in both mainstream and SEN settings. We are a diverse Trust that celebrates individual learning needs, including profound, severe, and complex learning needs.

Oak Wood Primary School are seeking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated teaching assistants who will support learning opportunities for our pupils alongside the class teacher. It would be advantageous if candidates have experience or knowledge in using proactive behaviour management strategies to ensure best possible outcomes for all pupils.

As a growing Academy Trust, we are committed to developing our work force and encourage all staff to participate in a range of professional development opportunities.

We welcome applicants who either hold a teaching assistant qualification or are currently working towards obtaining the qualification. Please see job description for full requirements of the role.
