Overdale Junior School is inviting applications for an enthusiastic L2 Teaching Assistant to join the team. The role focuses on supporting children with SEN within a safe, inclusive classroom environment to promote academic progress and emotional wellbeing.

The position is temporary for the school year, with term-time hours and an additional 1 week during school holidays. The role is based at Overdale Junior School, offering a supportive team and opportunities to contribute to pupil development.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with, or transferable skills suitable for supporting children with SEN.
• Ability to create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Promoting pupils’ academic progress, emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour.

Monday to Friday 8.45am to 12.15pm - term time plus 1 week during the school holidays 17.5 hours per week Full time salary - £26,427 - £26,847 per annum Actual salary - £10,786 per annum (40.81% FTE) Overdale Junior School has an exciting and challenging opportunity for an enthusiastic, committed, highly motivated and inspiring L2 Teaching Assistant to join their team.The successful candidate will have experience of working with, or transferable skills suitable for supporting children with SEN. You will play a key part in creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment and in promoting pupils’ academic progress, emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour.
