Overdale Junior School is seeking an enthusiastic L2 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis for the school year. The role focuses on supporting children with SEN and creating a safe, inclusive learning environment that promotes academic progress and emotional wellbeing.

The position is part-time, with hours from Monday to Friday 8.45am to 12.15pm, term time plus one week during school holidays. Training and staff collaboration are emphasised within a supportive school culture.

Qualifications

• Experience working with or transferable skills to support children with SEN.
• Ability to create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Promote pupils’ academic progress, emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour.

Overdale Junior School has an exciting and challenging opportunity for an enthusiastic, committed, highly motivated and inspiring L2 Teaching Assistant to join their team.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with, or transferable skills suitable for supporting children with SEN. You will play a key part in creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment and in promoting pupils’ academic progress, emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour. This role is offered on a temporary basis for the school year as it is subject to the receipt of SEN funding.
