Come and make a difference at Spring Vale Primary.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team, supporting children with SEND.
Spring Vale Primary is an oversubscribed two form entry school with a thriving Nursery. We are judged as a Strong school and have high expectations of both staff and pupils. Our children are eager to learn, incredibly appreciative of the adults around them and build wonderful relationships with the staff who support them. There is a genuine sense of belonging here: children know that they are cared for, staff go above and beyond for the children and each other, and our school has the warmth and feel of a family.
Quite simply, it is a privilege to work here.
We are looking for someone who wants to become part of that family. Someone who will see the child first, build strong relationships, hold high expectations and take real pride in helping children overcome barriers and succeed.
Just as importantly, we want someone we can invest in. This role could be particularly suited to somebody early in their career who is ambitious to develop further. We want to understand where you would like your career to take you and help you on that journey through high-quality support, professional development and opportunities within school and across our Trust.
We can offer you:
We don't expect you to arrive knowing everything. We are looking for someone with the right values, warmth, enthusiasm and commitment to children; particularly those who may need an adult to believe in them that little bit more.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to visit our happy, hardworking and caring school in order to fully appreciate the qualities and potential the school has to offer.
Safeguarding: Spring Vale is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects its staff to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to all necessary pre-employment checks, including Enhanced DBS; Childcare Disqualification; medical fitness; identity and right to work. In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2026 (KCSIE) online searches will be undertaken for prospective shortlisted candidates.
