Job summary

Ince CE Primary School on Charles Street, Ince, Wigan, invites applications for a Teaching Assistant Level 2. This permanent, term-time role is 31.25 hours per week, with start as soon as possible.

You will work with a friendly, supportive team to assist learning, promote inclusion, manage pupil behaviour, and support safeguarding and welfare under the guidance of the class teacher. We are looking for someone warm, well organized, with excellent communication and a genuine commitment to helping

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting pupils in primary education is desirable.

31.25 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year

Teaching Assistant Level 2.

The Governors and Headteacher of Ince Church of England Primary and Nursery School are seeking to employ a dedicated and enthusiastic level 2 Teaching Assistant who embodies the Christian vision and values of our school.

Ince C of E Primary and Nursery School is a large two form entry primary school in the heart of Ince.

We are looking for someone special who:

Is well organised and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Is highly motivated and committed to making a difference to every pupil in school.

Will promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.

Will encourage pupils to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher.

Will promote good pupil behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents in line with established policy and encourage pupils to take responsibility for their own behaviour.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 08.45 to 15.30, 31.25 hours per week.
