Brownlow Fold Primary School in Greater Manchester is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Level 2 plus SEN allowance to join our dedicated team and support pupils with diverse learning needs. The post is fixed term for twelve months (potential to go permanent) at 32.5 hours per week, term time only plus 5 days, with SEN allowance to reflect extra duties.

  • Must have at least 2 years of recent experience working within a school setting.
  • Must have experience working with children with SEND needs, ASD.

  • Have excellent IT skills using a range of software programs.
  • Engage and inspire pupils and secure the characteristics of effective learning.
  • Be able to work as part of a team, but also show initiative to work independently.
  • Demonstrate a flexible approach to respond to the changing needs of the school.
  • Have excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Be committed to high standards of presentation, with attention to detail.
  • Convey a ‘can do’ attitude and present as an effective team player to secure successful outcomes for school.
  • Be able to maintain high levels of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Have the ability to plan and prioritise own workload and meet deadlines.
  • Awareness and adherence to General Data Protection Regulations.

TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 2 PLUS SEN ALLOWANCE

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable teaching assistant to join our dedicated team, to work in partnership with our experienced and dedicated staff, to build on our successes and drive the school forward in future development and growth. This position is a great opportunity for a teaching assistant who wants to further their career within a good school with a strong and innovative Senior Leadership Team.

Grade D (point 6-11) £26,847- £29,071 per annum, pro rata, plus SEN allowance, term time only + 5 days. Actual Salary £20,193 - £21,865 per annum
