St Laurence’s Catholic Primary School is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to support learning across the primary age group. The role is a permanent position with part-time/term-time pattern, 28.5 hours per week across 46 weeks per year.
The successful candidate will follow plans and targets with the class teacher, work flexibly, and contribute to the school's ethos. NVQ/NCFE Level 2 TA qualification is required, with a solid grasp of English and Maths and knowledge of the National Curriculum.

Pay Band D / SCP 5-6
46 weeks per year – 28.5 hours per week
To commence: As soon as possible until 31 st March 2027
The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher following plans and targets and the ability to work flexibly. Be committed to working with the successful team ethos of St Laurence’s Catholic Primary School. Have an understanding of/experience of working with primary children. Is able to work well as a team and make a positive contribution to school life. Have an understanding of the National Curriculum and have competent skills in both English and Maths. Must have completed the NVQ/NCFE Level 2 Teaching Assistants Course.
