Job summary

Ashwood Spencer Academy in the East Midlands is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support Early Years and Year 2 learners. The role focuses on nurturing a love of learning with patient, positive support and strong behaviour management.

Ideal candidates will understand diverse learning needs, assist with creative and differentiated lessons, and help with planning and resources to impact pupil progress. All appointments include safeguarding checks and DBS processing.

The successful candidates must be:

• Able to understand how different pupils learn and the barriers some face to their learning.
• Able to support in the delivery of creative and innovative approached to learning, driving differentiated planning and confident in resourcing to impact on all pupils' learning.
• Successful in encouraging pupils to take responsibility for their own behaviour and support them where necessary
