Job summary

Parkdale Primary School in Nottinghamshire seeks two Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support teaching and learning in the classroom. The roles are part-time (32.5 hours per week), term-time only and permanent, with salary details aligned to Grade D points 7–12 and an actual salary pro rata for term-time employment.

The successful candidates will assist the class teacher in planning work programmes for individuals and groups of children and deliver educational activities and prepared learning

Qualifications

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting teaching and learning in a primary setting.
• Ability to work with children of mixed abilities and backgrounds.

Parkdale Primary is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and hard-working Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning in the classroom to maximise the participation of our children. The role will include assisting the class teacher in the planning of work programmes for individuals and groups of children and delivering educational activities and prepared programmes of learning.

We are a large, happy, multi-cultural school on the outskirts of the City of Nottingham, just (by a few metres) into the County of Nottinghamshire. We are part of the Transform Trust, a multi-academy trust based in the East Midlands.
