Job summary

Lancashire County Council's Worsthorne Primary School is seeking a qualified Teaching Assistant to support learning in KS1 and KS2. The role is 31.5 hours, term-time only, with pro-rata pay for part-time hours.

The successful candidate will relate well to children, work as part of a caring team, and have NVQ2+ and Level 2 English/Maths. Experience with SEND is advantageous and the post is permanent.

Qualifications

  • NVQ level 2 or above qualification – appropriate to the post (or equivalent).
  • Level 2 English and Mathematics qualification (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

  • Work as a general class TA in KS1 and KS2.
  • Support learning and promote progress for children of all abilities.
  • Support children with SEND as relevant.

Summary: The Governors of Worsthorne Primary School are looking for a qualified Teaching Assistant to join our very happy and proud school. The post will initially involve working as a general class TA in both Key Stage 1 and 2.

Essential Qualifications:
