Grange Primary School seeks an experienced and exceptional teaching assistant from September 2025 for a fixed-term role, with the potential for extension. Grange Primary School is seeking to appoint an experienced and exceptional teaching assistant, from September 2025, to join us on our continuing journey to pursue excellence for every child. This post offers an opportunity to work across a community to support the provision of the highest quality teaching and learning for every child from Nursery to Year 6. This is initially a fixed term contract but could have the possibility to be extended/made permanent in the future. We are looking for a teaching assistant who is: Committed, motivated and enthusiastic about making a difference to the lives of children A hardworking, positive, forward thinking, creative individual who will inspire and motivate our children to achieve their full potential and is able to use initiative Someone who has high expectations about teaching and learning and continually strives to raise standards for all children by providing them access to the highest quality provision A commitment to actively supporting and developing the social, emotional and wellbeing of children Dedicated to helping children to achieve with an ability to ensure accelerated progress across the Primary age range, including nursery. Able to evidence a record of delivering high quality support including working from own initiative and independently to deliver specific programs to support the accelerated progress form individuals/groups of children Good levels of Literacy and Numeracy (GCSE grades A - C passes or above) and relevant qualifications for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Position. |
Highly organised and flexible with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including ICT, to be able to work well as part of a team. A willingness to plan and lead activities throughout a lunchtime Energy, motivation and a desire to improve professionally and make a positive contribution to the school's journey towards excellence for every child.
