Job summary

Bamford Academy in Rochdale is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils in accessing learning activities as directed by the class teacher. You will help prepare resources and maintain displays to enrich the learning environment.

The role involves supervising pupils, assisting with personal care if needed, and providing general administrative support. Training will be provided, and you will join a caring team committed to high expectations and pupil wellbeing.

Qualifications

  • GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths or equivalent.
  • Willingness to undertake training as required.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to working with children.

  • Support pupils with personal care needs when appropriate (training provided if required).
  • Help maintain a safe, clean and tidy learning environment.
  • Support with playground and lunchtime supervision if required.
  • Attend relevant training and participate in school activities as directed.
