About the role: We are actively seeking Teaching Assistants to work in various Primary, Secondary, and SEND schools around Nottinghamshire on a full-time, part-time, or day-to-day basis.

If you have experience in education and are interested in roles from EYFS to KS4, we'd love to hear from you.

This role is also a great opportunity for those interested in beginning a career in education or gaining classroom experience for future teaching or TA positions.

If you have experience in care work, support backgrounds, residential or elderly care, coaching, sports coaching, or community work, you could be a good fit. Formal TA qualifications are not mandatory if you have transferrable skills and a passion for positively impacting young lives. Please note, experience should be in a professional capacity, not solely lived experience.

Working patterns available:

• Full time
• Part time
• Flexible day-to-day work

Hours of work:

• 08:30am - 15:30pm (Full time)
• 08:30am - 12:30pm (Morning only)
• 12:30pm - 15:30pm (Afternoon only)

Age Range:

• Primary Schools (4-11 Years)
• Secondary Schools (11-16 Years)
• SEND Schools (4-25 Years)

Qualifications:

• No essential qualifications required; transferrable skills are valued. Any formal qualifications are a bonus.

Duties include:

• Setting up equipment for lessons
• Maintaining a safe and tidy classroom
• Motivating and encouraging pupils
• Monitoring behaviour and progress
• Engaging pupils with the curriculum
• Encouraging participation in activities
