Warm, welcoming Catholic primary school
Key Stage 1 support with a focus on SEND and personal care
A role where kindness meets impact
Do you have a big heart and a knack for calming the chaos? We’re looking for a compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a values-led Catholic primary school, supporting children in KS1—including pupils with SEND who may need a bit of extra help with personal care.
It’s a role where no two days are the same—but every one makes a difference.
What you'll be doing:
Supporting brilliant little learners in KS1 classrooms
Offering 1:1 and group support for children with additional needs
Assisting with personal care in a respectful, nurturing way
Being a steady, positive presence who lives out the school’s Gospel values
About the school:
Rooted in Catholic faith and fuelled by compassion, this school believes in shaping children to “be more”—more kind, more confident, more curious. Staff and pupils come from all backgrounds, united by strong values and a sense of purpose.
You’ll be part of a team that works closely together, celebrates individuality, and helps every child flourish—academically, emotionally, and spiritually.
You’ll fit right in if you:
Have experience supporting children with SEND (in school or elsewhere)
Are patient, warm, and unflappable
Feel comfortable helping with personal care when needed
Respect the school's Catholic ethos and values
Whether you're a seasoned TA or thinking of starting your support staff journey, if you’ve got the care and commitment, we want to hear from you.
