We are working on behalf of a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Ashford seeking a committed and enthusiastic KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early education and eager to support children's development in a nurturing learning environment.
Your Role Will Include:
Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
Working one-to-one and in small groups with pupils to reinforce learning
Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Assisting with planning and preparation of classroom activities
Providing feedback on pupil progress to teachers and SENCO as needed
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have prior experience working with children, ideally in a KS1 setting
Be confident, patient, and empathetic
Hold relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 or equivalent – desirable but not essential)
Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
