Job summary

The Lighthouse Schools Partnership is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for term-time roles across its trusts. You will support students to access learning, work with teachers and SEND teams, and help create an inclusive classroom environment. A patient, proactive approach and strong safeguarding commitment are essential for success.

The role offers exposure to a diverse school community, with strong CPD and career development opportunities within a supportive central team.

Qualifications

Experience supporting students to access learning.
Able to communicate effectively with students, families and staff.
Patient, resilient and proactive approach to safeguarding and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

Support individual students and small groups to access learning activities.
Promote inclusion, independence and wellbeing of all students.
Build positive relationships with students, encouraging engagement and good behaviour.
Support implementation of individual education plans and targeted interventions.
Supervise students during lessons and school activities, ensuring safety.
Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers for review meetings.
Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times.
