Job summary

Reydon Primary School, part of the Active Learning Trust, is recruiting a permanent teaching assistant to support pupils individually and in small groups, 30 hours a week over 38 weeks a year, during term time.

You will work under teachers' direction to promote independent learning and positive behaviour, help prepare classroom resources, and contribute to assessment and pupils' wellbeing. Enhanced DBS clearance and references are required.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals and small groups in class under teachers' direction.
• Promote independent learning, inclusion and positive behaviour.
• Help prepare learning resources and maintain the learning environment.
• Support pupils' wellbeing, personal needs and social development, reporting concerns.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
• Contribute to assessment, record keeping and the wider life of the school.
