Job summary

Burwell Village College Primary School in Cambridgeshire is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant with teaching responsibility. You will support lessons, help pupils with English and maths, and contribute to planning and evaluating learning activities alongside the teacher.

You will also assist with safeguarding, first aid, and the development of individual learning plans, ensuring inclusive access to lessons and resources for all pupils.

Qualifications

• Understand health, safety and safeguarding policies.
• Attend training and CPD as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Establish positive relationships with pupils and support English and maths activities.
• Support ICT use in the classroom and develop pupil independence.
• Provide feedback on pupil progress and behaviour to the teacher.
