Job summary

St Augustine's RC High School is seeking a dedicated teaching support role to work with the classroom teacher in meeting the personal, social and curriculum related needs of pupils, including those with special needs and bilingual needs. The role aims to help create a safe, supportive learning environment and to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers and the wider community.

• Has experience and willingness to undergo training.
• Confident in supporting vulnerable pupils.
• Friendly and approachable in a school setting.

• Ability to work with children and families in a sensitive way.
• Planning, organisational and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with the teacher to meet pupils' personal, social and curriculum needs.
