Job summary

Outwood Primary Academy Park Hill in Wakefield is seeking a Teaching Assistant in the morning to support Maths and English, and a Higher Level Teaching Assistant in the afternoon to cover PPA. The role runs Monday to Friday during term time with additional days.

You will work closely with staff to plan and manage lessons and support pupil development. The successful candidate will have HLTA experience and a strong curriculum knowledge, with a collaborative approach and commitment to safeguarding

Qualifications

• Experience of working as a HLTA.
• Excellent curriculum knowledge.
• Ability to support Maths and English learning.
• Strong collaboration with teaching staff.

Responsibilities

• Work as a Teaching Assistant in the morning to support Maths and English.
• In the afternoon, cover PPA as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
• Assist with planning and managing the class on a daily basis.
• Collaborate with teachers while safeguarding pupils and maintaining consistent routines.
